The Tudors and the Toronto Consort

Be sure to catch the new drama series The Tudors on CBC Television on Tuesday nights!

In the summer of 2006, members of the Toronto Consort recorded music for the first season of The Tudors, a 10-part series of one-hour episodes about the early years in the life of King Henry VIII’s nearly 40-year reign of England. Again this past summer, members of the Consort recorded music for the second season episodes. To add to the excitement, our own David Fallis acted as Historical Music Consultant on these projects.

Season One of The Tudors is currently airing on CBC Television each Tuesday night at 9:00 pm. Tune in on Tuesdays and visit the CBC’s The Tudors website for interesting background information, and to watch episodes that have already aired.
