The Tudors and the Toronto Consort

The Final Season to air on CBC Television at the end of September!

In the summer of 2006, members of the Toronto Consort recorded music for the first season of The Tudors, a 10-part series of one-hour episodes about the early years in the life of King Henry VIII’s nearly 40-year reign of England. In summer 2007, members of the Consort recorded music for the second season episodes and music for Season Three and Season Four episodes followed. To add to the excitement, our own David Fallis acted as Historical Music Consultant on these projects.

Season One, Two and Three of The Tudors have aired on CBC Television and rumour has it that The Final Season will be shown on CBC Television starting at the end of September 2010.
