An internationally acclaimed countertenor and conductor, Daniel Taylor brings decades of experience and artistic vision to Toronto Consort. As an Officer of the Order of Canada, he has shaped the landscape of early music performance across North America.

Dame Emma Kirkby, DBE
Patron
One of the world's most celebrated early music sopranos, Dame Emma Kirkby's patronage marks a new chapter in Toronto Consort's distinguished history. Her international reputation and artistic excellence inspire our continued pursuit of musical excellence. Emma's artistic partnership with Daniel began when Daniel was only 19 years old. Since then, Emma has recorded and taught with Daniel, touring with him in recitals throughout North and South America and in the UK. Her association with Daniel is the story of a lifelong friendship based on admiration and respect.

In Toronto’s Bloor Street Cultural Corridor, this intimate hall brings listeners close to the music. Its resonant acoustic reveals the colour, nuance, and emotional depth of medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque repertoire.

Directions
Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre is located on the south side of Bloor Street between Robert and Major Streets, just west of Spadina Avenue. There is no parking at Trinity-St. Paul’s, however there is street parking, and a Green P lot on the west side of Spadina just north of Bloor. If taking the subway, exit at Spadina Station.
