The Toronto Consort Presents The Play of Daniel

The grand finale to our season is the greatest masterpiece of Medieval music theatre: a wondrous telling of the story of the writing on the wall and Daniel in the lions’ den. A full theatrical production featuring over 40 performers, with the Consort Medieval players and singers joined by Kevin Skelton in the role of Daniel, and the young voices of the VIVA! Youth Singers of Toronto, this is an event not to be missed.
One Act; no intermission. Approx. 70 Minutes.

DON’T MISS THE SPECIAL pre-concert lecture with Toronto Consort founder Timothy Magee, retired Music History Professor University of Toronto, on The Play of Daniel. One hour before each concert in the Gymnasium (May 22 & 23 at 7pm; May 24 at 2:30pm). Free with ticket purchase.
